Bob, I am writing as a satisfied customer and with a query regarding potential cooperation. My company, Creative Liaisons, is located in Innsbruck, Austria. We provide high-quality language services (training, text services, consulting and special programs) in Central Europe to the public and private sectors. I am an American and have lived here since 1991. One of our successful programs is in Boston, where we conduct an experiential language training program for business execs. On our last trip, which was two weeks ago, I bought several CD Rom packages, one of which was Managing People in the Streetwise series. It is the best we have found and we will be ordering all of your CD Roms for use in our self-access and one-to-one training programs.
My general query is twofold:
1. Would you be interested in being a lecturer in our next Boston program in September? I assume you are still based in Boston.
2. Would your company be interested in co-operating with me to produce books and CD Roms for communications training using English as a foreign language? We have developed our own materials and they are the best on the market (based upon our client feedback, which averages approximately 500 students per year, all business professionals). Secondly, we have a concept for one or more CD Roms designed for business professionals who want to learn effective communication strategies in English. We have the expertise in content, but not the know-how or infrastructure for producing the CD Rom itself. Now that I have seen what your company produces, I am sure Adams Media would be the ideal partner.
If you are interested, I suggest we dialog. I would also like to know your general terms of agreement for book and CD Rom publishing.
